So, I'm behind in getting pics up. Well, I'll just share a bit of our week.
Mom came to town for Campmeeting and we were blessed with her presence almost everyday. Bless her heart for her willingness to love 0n babies and help with light housework. I was so tired going into the 1st of July. My dearest friend, Teresa and her kiddos came for a 6 day visit with a trip up North to Puyallup to see old friends. And I loved having them here and I managed to get my outside windows washed and we took 2 trips to Blue Lake where the kids had sooo much fun. The babies loved to be outside and Kayla rocked out to Teresa's iPod tunes. We crammed a DDS visit, and Eye Drs visit, a playdate and a trip to the Campgrounds for church. By the end of the week I was pretty much feeling exhausted. Not like me, so off to the Drs and found a nice UTI brewing. So that was the cause of my fatigue. Of course, it wasn't everything else and 6 kids and more....haha
Then came a few days of rest. And over the 4th we got to have our dear friends, the Bolte's over for a BBQ, a few dips in the pool, a few rounds of Apples to Apples ( that left me peeing my pants), and some great firework fun. The babies slept right thru the ruckus until K-bug woke at 11pm and didn't flinch once while watching the night sky.
Monday AM, Makena and Isaac woke up with a cough. By noon, Makena was wheezy. By 5pm she showed labored breathing and her chest was contracting. So off to Urgent Care. Gave us Albuterol for our nebulizer machine at home. Next AM, she was more lathargic and a slight fever. Took her to Docs at Noon. Started her on Prednisone and upped the breathing tx to every 3hrs.. and if steroids didn't work in 2 hours to go to hospital. Got home, she took a nap. When she woke up she was in bad shape and limp in my arms and too tired to open her eyes. I started breathing tx and urgently called our Dr. since it hadn't been 2 hours yet, only 1. I screamed at the person directing calls to put us directly thru to Doc. The ? was could we get her there safely or go by ambulance. We headed to hospital and a neighbor and older kids watched K&I. X-ray showed Pneumonia and we knew she'd be admitted. My in-laws had come to watch babies and my Mom came to stay the night. Makena's oxygen levels dropped clear down to 87 percent during the night and needed oxygen to help her breathe. It was scary. The next day, Jon had another harry day at work and my Mom called to say Isaac was having more labored breathing (we had already started breathing tx). So Jon was off to pick him up and I told him just to bring him to the hospital too. So Makena had just gone down for a nap and I told the nurse I was headed downstairs. I cried when I opened the exam room door to see my shaking baby holding his arms out to me. It killed me not to be with all of my kiddos, esp. Isaac when he was sick. We got paged that Makena had woken up and Jon went to spend time with her. The Doc came back and said Isaac was clear for now and I got a huge lecture RE: immunizations, that Jon and I are still processing. Two babies in the hospital room for the rest of the day waiting for Makena to be discharged. They are doing well now and we're so glad to have us all home.

Oh man! You poor thing. I can't even imagine how hard that would be. I still cry every time my babies are sick and mine aren't babies anymore. Praying for your family to be well and for everyone to get sleep well tonight.
OMG those are YOUR adorable babies' butts on the piano. Too cute, I was visiting that website looking at another triplet mom's pictures and saw that and though how cute it was. too cute for words!!!
Just checking in to see how everyone is doing? Have had your family on my heart ever since I read this post. Looking forward to an update soon. t.
